In Time - The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003 je druhým oficiálním výběrovým albem kapely R.E.M. Album bylo vydáno v roce 2003 a obsahuje nahrávky z alb nahraných u Warner Bros. Records, od Green z roku 1988 až po Reveal z roku 2001, dále dvě nově nahrané písně a jednu píseň z filmového soundtracku. Bad Day bylo napsáno už v roce 1986, v době, kdy byl Bill Berry stále v kapele, ale finální verze byla dokončena až pro album In Time. Animal byla původně napsána pro následující studiové album. Podobně byla píseň All The Right Friends napsána na začátku 80. let a nahrána kapelou až pro film Camerona Crowea Vanilla Sky z roku 2001. The Great Beyond byla vydána v roce 1999 na soudtracku k filmu Miloše Formana Muž na Měsíci a stala se největším hitem R.E.M. ve Velké Británii, kde dosáhla na třetí místo žebříčku.
Album In Time - The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003 bylo také vydáno ve speciální limitované dvoudiskové edici, která obsahuje rarity a B-strany ze stejného období. Jednodisková edice se umístila na prvním místě britského a na osmém místě amerického žebříčku a získala zlatou desku. Dvoudisková edice se umístila na 16. místě amerického a na 37. místě britského žebříčku.

Oproti předchozí desce Wild World, která se stala číslem jedna a tematicky konfrontovala zejména činy těch, co jsou u moci, nadcházející album zachycuje potřebu dočasně vypnout a uniknout ze světa, který může každou chvíli vyústit v apokalypsu.
Bastille, kteří svou tvář světu představili šestkrát platinovým hitem Pompeii, debutovali albem Bad Blood, které se stalo třikrát platinovým. Carole King's lasting legacy as a singer and songwriter has been revitalized in recent years by compilations, an autobiography, and - most recently - the still-ongoing, Tony Award-winning jukebox musical Beautiful. One thing that's been notably absent? Previously unreleased content. With the exception of the excellent 2012 vault dive The Legendary Demos, and a few odd bonus tracks on reissues, King's archive has remained largely untouched. To the delight of fans worldwide, that will soon change.
Eagle Rock Entertainment has announced the May 17 release of Live At Montreux 1973, a new set documenting her appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 15, 1973. The press release notes that this was her first-ever performance outside the U.S. - with the exception of a 1971 BBC taping. Recorded only a month after her conceptual Fantasy album, King's Montreux set featured seven tracks from that album, including „Corazon” and „Believe in Humanity.” Also on the setlist are seven of the twelve songs from her triumphant release Tapestry. In all, it serves as a snapshot of Carole King at the height of her powers, performing an energetic set of album cuts, hits, and fan favorites in a legendary venue..

Když Tim Bergling 20. dubna 2018 zemřel, hudba pro nové album byla z devadesáti procent hotová. Tim za sebou zanechal bohatou sbírku téměř dokončených skladeb, poznámky, emailové konverzace a textové zprávy týkající se vytvářené muziky. Skladatelé, se kterými Tim tehdy spolupracoval, se se svolením rodiny, která nechtěla Timovu hudbu nechávat zamčenou v šuplíku, rozhodli v nahrávání pokračovat. „Po tom všem, dotahovat skladby do konce... Cítím se paralyzovaný, i když o tom jenom hovořím. Ale hlavním úkolem dokončování skladeb bylo co nejpřesněji naplnit Timovu vizi,” přibližuje nahrávání alba TIM Fogelmark.
Prostřednictvím programu Fruity Loops byli Albin s Kristofferem schopni najít a zachovat Timovi přesné úhozy kláves. „Měl úplně jiný styl hraní,” objasňuje Nedler. „Jeho prsty se občas dotkly neobvyklého tónu, což jeho skladbám dodávalo unikátní zvuk. Timovi otisky se doslova nachází napříč celým singlem SOS, který je prvním singlem z chystaného alba.”
Rok poté, co Tim zemřel, se jeho rodina rozhodla založit Tim Bergling Foundation, která se bude zaměřovat především na podporu lidí a organizací, kteří se věnují prevenci duševních onemocnění a sebevražd. Dále se bude zabývat klimatickou změnou, ochranou přírody a ohrožených druhů a pomocí v rozvojových zemích. Na konto organizace poputuje mimo jiné výtěžek z prodeje výše zmíněného alba TIM. „Tim chtěl věci měnit. Založit nadaci s jeho jménem je naším způsobem, jak vyjádřit čest jeho památce a pokračovat v tom, co začal,” přibližuje důvod založení nadace jeho rodina.

Jamie Cullum je světoznámým jazzovým pianistou a zpěvákem, jehož kariéra trvá již 18 let. Největší úspěch zaznamenal se svým třetím studiovým albem Twentysomething a následující deskou Catching Tales, které mu vynesly nominace na Brit Awards, Grammy a mnoho dalších cen. V rejstříku má vystoupení na největších hudebních festivalech světa například po boku Herbieho Hancocka, Kendricka Lamara nebo St Vincent. Aktuálně se Cullum po pěti letech vrací s novým albem Taller, které vyjde 7. června.

Death Race for Love is Chicago rapper Juice WRLD's second studio album to drop since his freshman album Goodbye & Good Riddance shook the hip hop scene in May 2018. With Goodbye & Good Riddance going platinum in the US, it's no overstatement to say that the expectations for Death Race for Love were set unachievably high immediately upon announcement. Initially leaking „Robbery” and „Hear Me Calling”, both of which followed the freshman Juice WRLD formula of heartbroken, tormented lyrics, many excitedly anticipated somewhat of a sequel to Goodbye & Good Riddance. However, this seemingly was not what Juice had planned for the album. His sophomore project ultimately ended up coming out less cohesive and much more hectic than his debut album with an overindulgent 22 song track list. His style varied from his distinguishable angsty melodies with equally dark lyrics in „Fast” and „Who Shot Cupid”, while other songs like „Empty” and „Syphilis” appear to be reaching out directly to the XXXTENTACION fanbase with their borderline screamo lyrics. This leads to a bit of a stylistic clash between songs that I believe is in part due to the fact that Death Race for Love was worked on by 13 more producers than was Goodbye & Good Riddance. As you work your way through the album there are some songs that feel as though they just don't belong next to each other. With aggressive „Syphilis” preceding a borderline nursery rhyme sounding „Who Shot Cupid” I thought for a brief second during my first listen through that my phone had glitched and began playing a different album. However, hectic as it maybe, I believe this project will be looked back on as one of Juice's biggest stepping stones to the top. This album embodied both the shredding of old layers as well as the growth of new ones. In many songs you could still hear the teenaged hopeless romantic losing his mind, but in others you heard an adult beginning to understand his position in the rap game. With lyrics like „My hand on my trigger, I'ma die with respect/F***in' with my money, you'll get dealt like that”, you can tell that Juice is beginning to understand that there's no reason to be crying about his two month long high school relationships. In some ways I felt that the drastic variation in vibe and sound responsible for creating some of the chaos also made the buzz around Death Race for Love last much longer than Goodbye & Good Riddance. With the release of his freshman album, the overall consensus was the same amongst the majority; all of that was damn good. Death Race for Love left many more people with mixed emotions, with some leaving certain songs on repeat while others refused to listen all the way through. Talking to people about the album, I found that I couldn't nail down one song in particular as the crowd appointed „best song of the album.” It all varied from person to person, which I believe speaks to the album's depth and complexity. Apart from the songs mentioned above „Flaws and sins” and „The Bees Knees” came up often in conversation when discussing favorites as well. It goes without being said that this album was not a project to be dismissed by any means. There were songs that Juice released on Death Race for Love that I believe will prove essential to his development in the long run. Was it a Goodbye & Good Riddance 2? Absolutely not. Not even close. However, in time I'm sure Juice as well as his fans will be thankful for Death Race for Love as he continues to find his style and deliver us with Billboard topping music. (J, Amazon)

A Different Kind of Human is Aurora's third album, and one that forms the second part of last year's surprise release, the critically acclaimed Infections of A Different Kind. It is another hugely impressive, conceptual leap forward from the young artist and one that firmly consolidates Aurora as a creative force to be reckoned with!!
